Based in London, UK, David Mytton is the main author of this blog and founder of Server Density, a server monitoring SaaS product. Although this is the official company blog, the main focus is providing devops tech articles that might be interesting to our customers and the sysadmin/tech community in general.
David has been programming in PHP and Python for over 10 years and is well known in the MongoDB community for one of the worlds largest and perhaps longest running production deployments of MongoDB, which has been powering Server Density since 2009.
David is a member of both the Japan Society and Royal Society for Asian Affairs and one of the founders of the Open Rights Group, a digital rights activist group in the UK. In his spare time he can be found cycling around London or drinking tea in Japan.
